Introduction | Who can use the site? | Important Announcements | What are the consequences for not completing the requirement? | What happens during a required visit?
The LSU Student Health Center Wellness Education Department is excited to offer new students and other members of the LSU community the opportunity to experience MyStudentBody.com, an online alcohol education program. Our hope is that students will use this resource throughout their time at LSU, and not just as a result of a requirement or class assignment. Please review this page for more information about this exciting program!
While first-year/first-semester students are required to visit the site, any member of the LSU student body that wants to learn more about alcohol in an up-to-date, non-judging manner can visit. Some organizations may require this as part of their member training. In some instances, students may also be referred to MSB after an alcohol-related disciplinary incident.
Anyone who would like to have a sample visit to MyStudentBody is encouraged to contact Hope McPhatter, Wellness Education Coordinator, to request a sample log-in and for general information.
Deadline for Fall 2009: November 2009
We now have MSB Tobacco, Stress, and Drugs! Although these modules are not required to complete, there is still some great information to gain from completing them. The information can be used in your daily lives as well as a secondary resource for homework assignments. You can log-on to the mystudentbody.com website using the same username as before or a completely new one.
If you are a freshman who has completed the MSB "First Year" Course, please email your certificate to msb@lsu.edu
If you are having problems accessing MyStudentBody.com due to issues with the website, please read the troubleshooting tips by clicking the link below. If you are still having problems after following the suggestions, please contact Technical Support.
If you are a second semester freshman who completed the MyStudentBody.com First-Year Course in a previous semester, you do not have to go through it again. If you are a new freshman, please read on for more information.
If you do not complete the requirement, you will not be able to add or drop classes from your schedule after the hold is placed. You will still be able to pay your fee bill, and your classes will not be purged. However, if you wish to change your schedule after the hold is placed, you will have to complete the MyStudentBody.com course, and email your certificate to msb@lsu.edu. The hold will be lifted by the end of the next business day.
