MEDICAL EMERGENCIES AFTER HOURS

An ambulance may be summoned for acute medical emergencies by dialing 225/578-HELP (4357). State the condition of the person and the exact location. If you are in a residence hall, a staff person should be notified at once.

For emergencies, call or go to one of the following hospital emergency rooms open 24 hours daily:

Any expenses incurred as a result of medical care obtained off-campus, including ambulance service, are your responsibility. If you are financially unable to pay for care, or have no insurance, you should go to Earl K. Long Medical Center.
